Design
Tri State Maintenance & Construction has been designing landscapes since we opened in 1998. We have landscape designers and Landscape Architects - Planners (NJ License AS00619) on staff with creative minds and years of experience. Our experienced designers and Architect can design a long lasting landscape by using their knowledge of placing the right plant material in the proper areas within the property. Our key objective is always to bring a fresh, lively and artistic approach to all our landscape projects. Our philosophy is based on Design Innovation and a sustainable landscape.
A project may involve the re-defining of shrub beds, development of screen planting, perennial bed plantings, or a major overhaul of an existing landscape... a planting design plan becomes a necessity for communicating the proposal to the client as well as providing the needed information to the installation crew leader. Here at Tri-State Maintenance, we will prepare a planting design plan, assist you in the best selections of plant materials and provide you with an itemized proposal.
What is the difference between a Landscape Designer and a Landscape Architect?
A Landscape Designer is someone who has several years of experience and has obtained a certification with state organizations. There are a variety of skill levels when it comes to a designer. A designer can be great for refreshing your landscape to re-designing small plant beds to complete landscape projects.
A Landscape Architect is someone who received their degree and their license from the state. They are responsible for landscaping everything outside the front door. Architects design hardscapes (such as; walkways, walls, driveways) and softscapes (all of the plant material). Some projects will require an architect to draw up a plan. We have many Landscape Architects that we work closely with on several different projects. Should you ever need a recommendation, Jenkins Landscape Company knows a Landscape Architect that would be a great match for you and your landscape.
In today's design-conscious world, the external appearance of commercial, industrial or residential sites is considered as important as the appearance of the buildings. With over 19 years of experience, Tri-State Maintenance and Construction brings to every design "an artistic touch" that will help beautify your landscape project. Landscape Installation
The landscape contracting process includes several important steps... many of those steps happen long before a truck, crew, and equipment appear at your site to put plants into the ground. Quality landscape installations involve care and attention in the following areas:
Plant Selection
Successful projects involve a skilled Landscape Contractor.Tri-State Maintenance and Construction takes an active role in the selection process of trees, shrubs, and ground covers. The landscape is selected for quality and its’ particular purpose within the landscape plan. This selection process is also known as Right Plant, Right Place and is very important for the long term growth of a landscape.
Experienced Crews
You can rest assured that our staff has been properly trained and will work to provide you with quality landscape safely and effectively. Our crew leaders are skilled (Nursery, Growers & Landscape Association) Certified Landscape Technicians. They have several years of experience in the industry and are prepared to tackle any project.
Equipment
Tri State Maintenance & Construction is an industry leader with the latest tools and equipment. Before arrival at a job site we will arrange any type of equipment needed for the job. Whether it is a 90 ton crane, front end loader or a shovel, we will be prepared. We have a full time mechanic on staff to make sure all equipment is operating at its’ fullest and safest potential and to help eliminate the possibility of break downs.
Installation
The installation process has many variables and each property is unique. The most important part of installation is proper planting and irrigation. If a plant is planted two inches too deep the plant will decline. Roots need air, just like people. Plants will require more irrigation once they are planted. After plants become established irrigation can be reduced. Over or under irrigation will cause a plant to decline and even die. Assure that you are getting the proper service by a professional; call Tri-State Maintenance today.
